HEPHAESTUS

Hephaestus, the god of fire, especially the blacksmith's fire, was the patron of all craftsmen, principally those working with metals, stonemasonry and in the art of sculpture.

THE FIVE ELEMENTS

Based in ancient texts the five elements are fire, earth, metal, water, and wood. These 5 elements are used to define life and the balance that must be maintained between the elements.

At AKASHA Forge and Foundry we employ all aspects of the five elements in the creation of our work, creating one of a kind, artistic pieces using traditional blacksmithing and craftstmen techniques.

AKASHA

Akasha means the basis and essence of all things in the material world. It is the One, Eternal, and All Pervading physical substance, which is imperceptible. Akasha also refers to dragons that rule at the center or the circle of the five elements, drawing from all five elements to create their magic. We like to think the talent of our artisans is that imperceptible, all pervading physical substance and, like the Akasha dragons, our artisans draw upon all five elements in creating their remarkable works.
